Women open up about their (terrible) first kisses.

For many of us, our first kiss is an embarrassing memory that we’ve spent the last few years/decades trying to forget.

We expected it to be like the movies, with birds chirping and romantic music playing from an invisible speaker.

Instead, there was saliva. Too much of it. As in, we were required to inconspicuously wipe it from our face with our sleeve when he wasn’t looking. There were sweaty hands. There were disproportionate mouths, which resulted in our chins being uncomfortably eaten.

We decided to take a deep breath, and confess to the trauma that was our first kiss. Seriously – has anyone ever had an enjoyable one?
