What Portia De Rossi did for Ellen DeGeneres in celebration of their anniversary has put a huge smile on our faces.

Portia De Rossi and Ellen Degeneres celebrated their 6-year-wedding anniversary with a hint of sky writing.

Portia had the word “six” written in the air above them to celebrate the milestone, which Ellen took a snap of, along with her and Portia smiling happily.

Ellen posted the shot to Twitter and captioned it with, “Look what my wife did for our wedding anniversary. Six!”

During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Ellen commented on the rumours they were on the rocks. “I read that we were getting divorced, and I went and told [De Rossi], and she was sad. We both were so sad.”

Ellen also told People, "The truth is, and this is corny, I fall more in love with Portia all the time."
