Cancel your Valentine’s Day plans, because we’ve finally got confirmation that the Dirty John TV series is coming to Australia.
About damn time.
Yes, good old Netflix will be bringing the television adaptation of the hit-podcast to our screens from February 14.

For those unaware of Dirty John’s premise, the series will focus on the real-life relationship between successful interior designer, Debra Newell (played by Connie Britton) and John Meehan (Eric Bana), a man she met on the internet. They two begin dating and quickly fall in love, despite her daughters’ objections.
Soon, however, warning signs begin to appear.
Debra eventually hires a private investigator who uncovers John is not quite as he seems.
And that’s when the proverbial sh*t hits the fan.
The show has been available since November in the US and has received rave reviews.

I just finished watching this series, but the woman (Debra Newell) comes across a gormless idiot, or perhaps it was how Connie Britton portrayed her.
