Grapes are a pain to cut in half…but not anymore.
Kids love grapes. But when they are whole, they are a potential choking hazard. So parents are left to tearing them apart. Or eating half and giving the other to their child. Or trying to slice them individually, sending the grapes flying (and not to mention how much time it takes).
Which is why we are absolutely in love with this life hack.

Top tip – If you’re well past the cutting grapes stage, this also works on cherry tomatoes.
CLICK THROUGH the gallery to see the simple steps:
Step 1: get your grapes.
Step 2: put them on a plate.
Step 3: get a plate the same size and place it on top.
Step 4: get a serrated knife.
Step 5: slide the serrated knife between the 2 plates (hold the top plate down, but not too hard, otherwise you will squash the grapes).
Step 6: you have your halved grapes. Bonus: You can also do this with cherry tomatoes.
