Cocktail jeans are the latest trend to hit the streets – they’ve been spotted on every celebrity, from Katie Holmes to Sarah Jessica Parker. If you’re not sure what a cocktail jean is, it’s a term coined by fashion experts used to describe skinny jeans that are defined by their texture – usually a leopard, a snakeskin or stingray.

At my-wardrobe.com, where the Current/Elliott leopard-print jeans initially sold out within 24 hours, buying and merchandising director Luisa De Paula reports a “huge demand” for cocktail jeans. There the style is expected to be the natural follow-on from J Brand’s sellout colour pop jeans.

I love the red denim:-) Im a size 0 so I can usually fit in everything when it comes to fit. I think that the red was the best. Im thinking about investing in some cocktail Jeans too. I have long legs. Round butt. Plus weigh about 120. Im not trying to brag. Just saying...:-)
I would definitely wear a pair of leopard skinnies. Too cute.
My favourite jeans at the moment are my Levi Demi Curve. I don't have a very big waist but because I have narrow hips, I have great difficulty finding jeans. If they fit in the waist, massive in the hips. If they fit in the hips, too tight in the waist. These are great and only $100 for the black and $120 for the blue.
I also picked up a great pair of cargo jeans from Seed Femme in a great blue-black rinse.
I've also ordered a pair of red denim skinnies from Ezibuy because they were only $40 and I couldn't justify $200 plus on a pair of red jeans that I'll wear for a season. Haven't got them yet so can't vouch for them!
