We scoured the internet for the best summer co-ord sets and this is what we found.

When it comes to summer dressing, my requirements are simple:

  1. I should be able to throw it on easily.

  2. I shouldn’t have to spend hours thinking about the perfect outfit combination.

So when the weather starts to warm up, you’ll most likely see me sporting an effortless dress, or, my new go-to: co-ord sets.

If I had to describe my style, I would say it's quite minimalist and, dare I say, quite luxury (on a budget), which means my entire wardrobe is filled with really basic clothing items I can wear year on year.

Rarely do I add anything new to my closet, and when I do, I always ask myself, “Am I buying this because it’s trendy? Or because it’s actually something I would wear?” Nine times out of 10, the answer is the former.

It’s been a long time since something has really caught my eye, so when I found myself doing a double-take at co-ord sets, I knew it was time to slap my credit card on the counter and buy one (read: multiple).

The beauty of a co-ord is that it can either be worn together, or separately, so you can get multiple outfits out of two pieces. They’re also extremely easy to dress up or down – just add heels or sneakers and you’re good to go.

So if you’re itching to buy a co-ord set for yourself, have a look at my top picks below.

Why I love it: There's something about the sleeve length on this co-ord set that makes me want to hit purchase immediately. I can also see myself wearing it in two different ways: 1. With the shirt untucked, giving it a more relaxed feel, and 2. With the shirt tucked in, making it look a lot more refined.

DISSH Murphy Natural Pinstripe Vest, $139.99, and Pant, $139.99.
