Ex Home and Away star Christie Hayes gets real about motherhood.

Former Home and Away star Christie Hayes has shared a beautiful, warts-and-all account of motherhood on Instagram.

The 29-year-old gave birth to her first son, Hendrix Walter White, in October 2014 and just six weeks later, she discovered she was expecting baby number two.

Hayes, who played Kirsty Sutherland on Home and Away from 2000-2005, welcomed Harley White in September 2015.

The mother of two, who is engaged to fiancé Daniel White, clearly has her hands full with her two adorable boys – and she took the opportunity to tell it like it is by sharing the below parenting moment earlier this week with The Motherish.

It was accompanied by a raw, real and refreshing caption about the ups and downs of parenthood:

The post clearly struck a chord with her followers, with her Home and Away co-star Ada Nicodemou posting: “U r doing an awesome job” and jessawee adding “Ur amazing super mum.”

It’s a sweet photo of Christie and Harley – but the message behind the post is even more important.

It’s a reminder that all mums are doing their best – and that your best is definitely good enough.
