Christie reveals how she is making long distance work with Mark.

It’s been nearly a month since Australia’s second season of Married At First Sight wrapped up, but Christie Jordee and ‘hubby’ Mark Hughes are still going strong.

The pair kept us guessing through the series, with many discussions of ‘different worlds’, leading viewers to believe they wouldn’t last.

Yet, in a recent interview with Woman’s Day, Christie said the pair were determined to make their long-distance work.

Christie, a DJ-turned-business-owner, hails from Sydney while Mark lives on a farm in rural Victoria.

“I’m back from the farm! [It’s a] massive difference farm feeding calves to now sitting here,” Christie told Woman’s Day at the Steven Khalil show at Sydney’s fashion week on Tuesday night.

The pair shared photos on their Instagram accounts of their burgeoning relationship on the farm, with one user, @shazam_pow commenting, “Where are you and Christie on he whole kids stage like when do you want to have kids seeing how your officially staying together.”

Hold your horses a bit their Shazam, we mean, Christie and Mark only got married a few months ago. The comment went unnoticed, yet Christie hinted to Woman’s Day Mark may be moving to Sydney to join her in the near future.

“It’s hard, it’s difficult. My business is lacking a little bit so I’ve told him he needs to get his butt up here now,” Christie laughed.

Christie and Mark, along with Erin and Bryce were the only couples to stay together after the series finished, proving if you’re forced to get to know some one experts have paired you with, fifty per cent of the time it may actually work out.
