The Cheerio Challenge, brought to you by dads everywhere.

It’s a weird and wonderful time we live in.

First, there was planking. Then came the Ice Bucket Challenge, the Harlem Shake and the Running Man.

Now, bored dad’s everywhere have brought us the latest fad to sweep the depths of the internet.

Allow us to present…

The Cheerio Challenge.

Born out of pent up immaturity and a lack of social interaction, the Cheerio Challenge involves fathers (or mothers) carefully stacking a pile of Cheerios atop their sleeping baby's/child's head.

The challenge, should you choose to accept it is simple...

  1. Buy a box of Cheerios
  2. Wait until unsuspecting baby falls asleep
  3. Build a jenga-style tower of cheerios on their sweet little forehead
  4. Record your endeavours for social media... because if you don't post it, did it even happen?

Some have gone small...

Some have gone hard.

Even celeb dad's aren't immune to the Cheerio Challenge.

Can't get your hands on a box of Cheerios?

Don't stress. Just use whatever you can find around the house.

Can't find a small child?

All good. Just use your dog like this guy.

So run, don't walk, to your nearest sleeping baby (preferably someone's you know) and get stacking!
