The CFDA Fashion Awards are the American fashion industry’s awards night of nights. Think the Logies but with more sequins..and style. And no Suzy Edelman.

The annual event recognises excellence in fashion design, journalism and creativity. What that means for us is exquisite red carpet fashion to gawk at. Anna Wintour, Sarah Jessica Parker, and the Olsen twins are usually in attendance, and this year Rihanna is being honoured with the Icon Award. So, naturally she came in near naked in a sparkly Emperor’s New Clothes frock.
