While some of us were battling the inevitable invasion of personal space in over-crowded bars, dealing with drunk relations on the family holiday, or trying our very best to keep our eyes open past midnight at the party we were assured would be ‘THE BEST EVER!’ there was apparently a whole other world of NYE fun going on.

From Bachelorettes to comedians, our home-grown celebrities were ringing in the New Year in style.

Later in the evening, Zoe Foster Blake did what most of us wish we had done last night, and pretended the 9pm fireworks were the midnight fireworks.

Nadia and Jimmy Bartel celebrated a very ‘tame’ New Year, their first as parents to new bubba, Aston James.

2015 has been full of ups and downs for Jesinta Campbell and Buddy Franklin. The couple kicked off their fresh start with a pretty incredibly view of the Harbour Bridge.
