A little boy called Carter is taking over the World Wide Web.

It all started innocuously enough. Carter (nobody knows his last name, he’s that much of an enigma) knocked on the door of one Reddit user to ask if he could have a banana — and then left.

But before he took off, he cooly turned around and struck a super-fly pose while silently chewing a banana. Like this:

Then someone grabbed Carter’s extra-fly-banana-pose and superimposed it onto a movie poster, like this:

… And a trend was born. Before long, Carter and his banana appeared wandering (completely unfazed) in front of King Kong:

And manning this stand on Arrested Development.

(A frozen banana stand, duh.)

He even casually pinched a slice of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle’s pizza — because that’s just how Carter rolls.

Carter, you may be a pizza thief, but what you’ve really stolen is our HEARTS.
