Oh. Bride & Prejudice's newlywed Jess has moved out of Seyat's family home.

Oh.

It seems there might not be a happily ever after for Bride & Prejudice: Forbidden Wedding’s Jess and Seyat.

The couple finally tied the knot during last week’s episode, despite Seyat’s mother Fatima disapproving of their relationship.

However, Jess has since moved out of Seyat’s family home.

The 21-year-old told New Idea she’s no longer living with her husband and his family.

“I’m no longer living at Seyat’s parents’ house with him, I’ve gone back home to my parents,” she said.

“We are very much still planning to move out together, however I’ve recently had the opportunity to study a course in Marine Biology and Zoology in Townsville, so there may even be a bigger move on the cards.”

Jess also told the magazine Seyat has begun working at a local Toyota dealership and he’s very happy with his new job.

This comes just days after Seyat opened up about his own doubts about their relationship. Speaking to Who, Seyat said he wasn’t fully committed to the idea of monogamy when he first started dating Jess.

“At the start of our relationship she wanted to date me but I didn’t want a girlfriend, plus I still had feelings for my ex,” he said.

“Cheating for me isn’t always just sleeping with another person. If you’re telling me one thing and then going off flirting with other girls, then that’s cheating,” Jess added.

The couple had one of the most intense journeys on the show.

Over the past few weeks, Fatima has certainly made no secret of the fact that she doesn’t approve of her son’s fiancee.

Not only has Fatima called Jess “a slutty party girl” and “a whore”, she even attempted to bribe her with $10,000 cash to leave Seyat’s life.

Yep, it’s been very dramatic.

The night before his wedding, Seyat’s mother and father tried again to talk Seyat out of marrying Jess.

“You’re making a mistake… and you’re not ready. Why couldn’t you just stay friends?” Fatima asked her son.

“Why did you marry her [Fatima] in the matter of two weeks?” Seyat questioned his father Sam.

“You knew each other for two weeks and then you got married. Why?”

“Our marriage, it just had feeling,” Sam responded.

“That’s how I feel right now,” Seyat said.

Despite attempting to talk her son out of the wedding, Sam and Fatima begrudgingly attended Jess and Seyat’s wedding.

“This is sickening,” Fatima uttered under her breath.

The final episode of Bride & Prejudice: The Forbidden Weddings will air on Channel Seven at 7.30pm tonight.
