The world’s most popular humanitarian couple have allegedly broken a promise to an Australian Wildlife charity.
Angelina Jolie has had a lot to say this week while doing the media rounds for her movie Maleficent. From not confirming or denying that she wants to one day be the US President to Good Morning America…
“I wonder if by now if my skeletons are out. They’re probably all out. You know, if I thought I’d be effective [as the US President], I would. But I’m not sure if I would ever be taken seriously in that way, and be able to be effective.”
…to telling rich, famous mums to stop complaining in an interview with New York Daily News:
“I’m not a single mom with two jobs trying to get by every day. I have much more support than most people, most women in this world. And I have the financial means to have a home and health care and food.”
But the latest news on humanitarian Ange is not so good.
While in Sydney late last year, the Brangelina crew headed to Dreamworld during their stay on the Gold Coast. According to The Courier Mail, the family visited Dreamworld four times, all during after-hours access, and didn’t pay a thing. Normally for 8 tickets it would cost $556.87 a visit. So they would at least owe $2,227.48… and that isn’t taking into consideration the after-hours access.
Instead, Brad and Ange allegedly offered to support the Dreamworld Wildlife Foundation. But five months later the Foundation is still waiting for their donation.
Dreamworld management hasn’t commented on the story, but park officials (who spent thousands of dollars to staff Dreamworld for the Brangelina family) are believed to be really cranky.
Let’s hope it is just a mistake and the cheque is on its way.
