“I am unbelievably thrilled and truly blessed to be in the City of Angels to be part of this season of Dancing With The Stars,” Bindi said in a statement released by the US network ABC.

“This will be a completely new adventure for me and I’m excited to share my journey.”

And then she went truly life-inspiring on us and said:

“Life is about daring to dream, I’m in love with this city and ready to fall in love with the music and dance to come.”

Bindi is actually fairly well-known in the US thanks to the wildlife shows she’s produced from her base in Australia. Bindi: The Jungle Girl, Bindi’s Bootcamp and because of the legacy of her dad, Steve.

The show airs on September 14.
