A few people have been asking me to post about Joaquin Phoenix on Letterman last week. Joaquin who may or may not be making a mockumentary about his career change from acting to rapping or  who may just be channelling Grizzly Adams meets the Unabomber and losing his fucking marbles……my care factor is just hovering above zero. Really. I’ve tried to summon interest in this story but failed. Hence, no post because I’m nothing if not sincere…. However, Ben Stiller doing a Joaquin Phoenix impersonation at the Oscars with my pick for best-dressed, Natalie Portman, made me laugh and inspired me to trawl youtube for the original David Letterman appearance. I’ve posted both for your mindless amusment. Also – Natalie Portman should receive an Oscar for Most Natural Scripted Banter During An Oscars Presentation. So often these things are squirmy. She made it cool. Love her to the mooon and back.
