The five budget fashion bloggers you need to follow on Instagram right now.

Scrolling through your favourite fashion bloggers on Instagram may inspire your wardrobe but before you know it, you’ve mentally spent $5,000 you definitely don’t have.

Enter the budget fashion bloggers.

There’s nothing secondary about their style, they just know how to make a $5 t-shirt look like a million dollars.

We’ve rounded up our five Aussie faves, bloggers who’ll delight your Instagram feed as well as your bank account.

1. I Heart Bargains.

The name says it all.

Chelsea Thomas has accrued 74,000 followers thanks to her ability to always find the most stylish bargains.

Every clothing item she shares is under $100, showcasing a mix of high street and smaller, independent labels. Her style is fashionable but wearable, from the classic jeans, boots and jumper combo to a killer print dress and fancy heels.

2. What The Teacher Wears.

We certainly don’t remember teachers dressing like this when we were in school.

Based in Brisbane, Alex MacGregor is the teacher with a wardrobe that would make any fashion blogger jealous. Fond of bright prints and colour, she’s a master in creating fun outfits that are still office-appropriate, all without breaking the bank.

3. A Broke Girl’s Blog.

Prudence Richardson started her blog when she was a student but her love for affordable fashion has continued, delivering it girl fashion pieces at budget-friendly prices.

Seriously, some of her outfits will give you change from $40. Minimalist lovers will rejoice – Richardson favours the blogger’s favourite shades of black, grey and white with the odd pop of colour.

5. Never Ever Pay Retail.

If there’s anyone who knows you don’t have to spend big to create a killer outfit, it’s Never Ever Pay Retail’s Hannah Klose.

In fact, the clothes don’t even need to be new. Klose scours her local op shops to find the best pieces – and you’d never believe most of her outfits cost less than $15.
