Hollywood’s most old-school actor has announced he is expecting his second child with wife Sophie Hunter.

Benedict Cumberbatch revealed the magical news to E! News on Friday, with his rep telling the entertainment website “everyone is absolutely thrilled.” The due date is not yet known.

Cumberbatch, 40, and Hunter, 38, were married in February 2015, following a short engagement and one the duo decided to announce in theThe Timesin November of 2014.

On June 13, 2015, the two announced the arrival of their firstborn with the following statement: “Benedict Cumberbatch and Sophie Hunter are delighted to announce the arrival of their beautiful son. We would kindly ask everyone to respect the family’s privacy during these next few precious weeks.”

The actor and film producer welcomed their baby boy in June last year. However, it wasn’t until September that the couple announced that they had named their baby boy Christopher Carlton Cumberbatch.
