Chris and Rebecca Judd turn their disappointing housing situation around to make a tidy profit.

It’s been a difficult road to sale success for Rebecca and Chris Judd, but the couple has finally managed to sell their Melbourne townhouse.

The Prahran home was passed in at auction on the weekend, but RealEstate.com reports the four-level property has been snapped up by a local investor for approximately two million dollars. It is believed the buyer plans on renting out the home.

The townhouse, which the power couple lived for seven years including when their eldest son, Oscar, was born, did not attract a single bid at Sunday’s auction, despite two prospective buyers having representatives present.

Unconventionally, the furniture, including expensive artwork, technology, bedding and ornaments were included in the sale. This was part-and-parcel with Bec’s online home style seriesThe Style School, which saw her refresh the home with on-trend decor and share progress with her followers via her personal blog.

Generously, the parents of four have decided part of the sale price will be donated to Windana, a St Kilda drug and alcohol charity, to help buy a rehab centre.

The lavish pad was originally purchased when ex-AFL star Chris relocated from Perth to Melbourne upon joining the Carlton Football Club in late 2007. The duo has since moved – and now live between their expansive home in Brighton, and their ‘weekender’ on the state’s Mornington Peninsula.

Domain Group data suggests the couple also failed to sell the home in 2013, before taking it off the market and renting it out instead.

Bec and Chris have four kids together, including twin sons Tom and Darcy, who were born in late September.
