IT'S HERE: The first 'Beauty and The Beast' trailer is better than we could've imagined.

After months of waiting, a teaser trailer and a handful of stills, Disney has delivered the first proper look at it’s upcoming live action adaption of Beauty and The Beast.

The film, directed by Bill Condon, looks like it will remain faithful to the 1991 animated classic, with Emma Watson making a picture perfect Belle.

She appears alongside Dan Stevens as the Beast, Luke Evans as Gaston, Ian McKellen as Cogsworth, Ewan McGregor as Lumiere and Emma Thompson as Mrs Potts.

The teaser was watched 91.8 million times in the first 24 hours of its release, taking the record from Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Live-action remakes of Dumbo, Sword in the Stone, Aladdin, Mulan, Pinocchio, Snow White and  The Little Mermaid are also reportedly in the works.

Beauty and the Beast is set for release early in 2017.
