What started as bow-legged cowboy-esque silhouettes on runways trickled down into more wearable high-street barrel styles that curved out mid-thigh and then back in again towards the ankle.

Now, the barrel leg jean has officially graduated from a trend to a wardrobe staple.

Uniqlo Barrel Leg Pants | Nothing To Wear

Nothing to Wear podcast host and very stylish lady Leigh Campbell recommended a pair of Uniqlo Barrel Leg Pants so good, she buys them in every colour.

Since then, barrel leg pants in lightweight jersey, linen, cotton and cargo materials have been dominating my feed.
