The couple shared news of the pregnancy via Instagram on June 22.

“Bec & I are SUPER EXCITED to announce that Baby Vee will be arriving Jan2018!!! #lifestartsnow #ourbiggestadventureyet,” Vee captioned the shot.

They began dating in October 2015, just months after Chin was eliminated from the reality matchmaking show by Bachelor Sam Wood.

Chin is perhaps best known as one of the contestants taken on Wood’s infamous ‘Groundhog date’, where three Bachelorettes each went on identical, deliberately disastrous outings with the personal trainer.

The women – who each thought they’d won a single date with Wood – were forced to change a tyre, get drenched on a jet boat and eat chicken feet. The Bachelor hoped the prank scenarios would reveal how the women cope ‘when the chips are down’.

Chin took to Instagram after the date aired to share how uncomfortable the experience was. “Thank you to my girl Emily for staying on the phone with me for 3.5 hours last night after having to relive that awful experience,” she wrote.
