Heartbroken, couch-bound and stalking your ex? There's an app that will stop you.

PRAISE THE ROCK GODS.

Last year when Nickelback front man Chad Kroger split with his wife Avril Lavigne after two years of marriage, we could only assume he had a bit of a meltdown.

Like every other newly-single sod on the planet, it seems likely that Kroger would have taken the normal post-break up steps to try and mend his broken heart. He is only human, after all.

He would have gotten a new haircut:

And probably rocked out with his mates (to celebrate his new single status, duh).

You don’t need to put on a brave face for us, Chad. We know you’re hurting.

Unfortunately, Kroger would most likely be immune to this amazing (though sadly imaginary) new app, which will play a Nickelback song whenever you try to contact your ex — or stalk their Facebook page.

“When you’re down in the dumps after being dumped by a douche, fasting acting Nickeblock lifts you back up within 15 seconds or less,” a voice-over explains.

YIKES.

In loving memory of Chavril; we hardly knew you.
