Turn up with a swirl this sweet in your hair and you’re sure to be the envy of every Southern Belle. It certainly worked for Anna Paquin, who wore a borderline sculptural, and well-over-the-line excellent up-do to the premiere party for True Blood‘s seventh and final season.

At the front her hair looked like a big, smooth beauty queen quiff, but it was the sides that really caught our eyes.

We can't even imagine how many bobby pins and cans of spray it took to make this look. But we've got to salute it. The style was created by Campbell McAully, while Anna's autumnal makeup look was done by Amy Nadine Clement, using products from Charlotte Tilbury.
