This is not a drill. We repeat, this is not a drill. People magazine have just released the first OFFICIAL photos of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s wedding.
You ready? Because they are SO divine.
Angelina Jolie went for a natural look for her makeup; she paired a soft brown smokey eye with thick black eyelashes and a neutral coloured lipstick. The 39-year-old opted for minimal contouring with only a hint of peach blush and illuminator down the bridge of her nose and tops of her cheeks. She wore no jewellery aside from a pair of simple (but large) pearl earrings, and of course her Robert Procop-designed engagement ring and wedding band.
But it was her dress that has everyone talking today. Luigi Massi, the master tailor at Atelier Versace, sewed dozens of designs from her children’s drawings into her dress and veil.
“Luigi is like family to me and I couldn’t imagine anyone else making this dress,” says Jolie. “He knows and cares for the children and it was great fun putting it together.”
Brad and Angelina's six children also took part in the ceremony. According to People magazine, Maddox, 13, and Pax, 10, walked their mum down the aisle; flower girls Zahara, 9, and Vivienne, 6, tossed petals gathered from the garden; and Shiloh, 8, and Knox, 6, served as ring bearers. The kids also reportedly helped write their parents' vows, and Pax baked the wedding cake - with that much help on hand you can see why they waited (well, aside from their intention to wait until same sex marriage was legalised).
