Well this is certainly an upset. Amy Madigan has just won the best supporting actress Oscar for her role in Weapons, a supernatural horror movie in which she played Aunt Gladys, a mysterious woman from the neighbourhood where 17 children went missing all in one night.
If you haven't seen the movie, you've certainly seen the memes.

The 75-year-old actress beat out what is possibly the strongest field in years to win.
Other nominees included Elle Fanning for Sentimental Value, Wunmi Mosaku for Sinners and Teyana Taylor for One Battle After Another.
Taylor had been the favourite for months, winning a Golden Globe with Mosaku right behind her for Sinners, after the movie gained serious momentum at the SAGS.
But Madigan appeared to gain the lead after her win at the SAG awards earlier this month. Still, it was really anybody's Oscar.

It's the first time in 58 years that a supporting actress has won for a horror movie. The last time was Ruth Gordon for Rosemary's Baby in 1968.
This is Madigan's first Oscar and her second nomination since 1986, when she scored a nomination for Twice in a Lifetime. But you may remember her as John Candy's long suffering girlfriend in Uncle Buck.

In her speech, Madigan, who is married to Ed Harris, said: "I've been asked about the difference between the two nominations, saying, 'What's different is I got this little gold guy'."
Madigan's win means right now anything is possible.
You can feel it in the audience, a ripple has gone through all those actors who thought they might have been a lock. The field is now wide open.
Who knows? Even Timothée might still win.
