Actress Amber Tamblyn, best known for her role in The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants, has announced the birth of her baby girl. The name she’s shared on Instagram has the whole world talking.
The 33-year-old made the announcement with an Instagram video of kicking baby feet, complete with the hashtag: #TheFutureIsFemale
Then the name, which has everyone in giggles…
“Dauphinoise Petunia Brittany Scheherazade Von Funkinstein Mustard Witch RBG Cross Tamblyn-Bey jr.”
This is Tamblyn’s first baby with comedian husband David Cross, 52. The pair were married in 2012 and Tamblyn announced her pregnancy in October last year via an article she wrote for Glamour.
In the article, Tamblyn wrote about her experience as a victim of sexual assault. That it’s an experience shared by her mother, and one she doesn’t want for her daughter.
Don’t kiss the baby, and other things that people should know. Post continues below.
Almost exactly four months later, and we are welcoming ‘Dauphinoise’…
More than likely, the name’s a joke.
But the little girl – whatever she’s called – is never going to live it down.
(“Mustard Witch” especially, has captured the imagination of fans the world over.)
