Ever since Boxing Day sales ended, retailers have been pretty quiet on the bargain front aside from a few warehouse sales here and there. So, when Afterpay Day was announced, my ears perked up, and I immediately got down to business.

ICYMI, Afterpay Day is a shopping event that takes place twice a year — once in March and the other around August. The sales are so stinkin' good that you're sometimes able to score up to 70 per cent off online and in store if you're lucky.

That's basically free.

And you don't need to be signed up to the service to enjoy the discounts.
