One of my favourite trends to come out of social media has been the hype over building a capsule wardrobe. Whenever I open up my TikTok #fyp and go down that rabbit hole (as we do), I almost always see a video on the importance of sustainability when it comes to the world of fashion. In fact, at the time of writing #capsulewardrobe has garnered over 707.3 million views on the app.

So naturally, as a fashion content creator myself, this has influenced me to become educated on the importance of maximising wear out of my pieces for longevity, as well as adopt a #reweardontcare mentality.

I’m far from perfect but I pride myself on being a far more conscious shopper than I once was, and investing in pieces that I genuinely love, cherish and can see myself styling time after time again. A key way I achieve this is by shopping for timeless accessories that can be worn season after season.
