Ah, The Brownlow Medal – it’s hard to think of a more quintessentially Australian event. Lucky for us, the international trend of no-makeup red carpet makeup (as seen at the MTV Awards and Emmys earlier this year) did not feature heavily. Instead it was all lashings of fake lashes, loads of lip colour and enough liquid bronzer to fill a public swimming pool. And you’ve got to love it.
