Lynne Beckham

1.  Life can be tough when your estranged brother is an international sporting superstar.

Just ask Lynne Beckham! It emerged this week that David Beckham ‘s older sister lives on government handouts with her 3 children and David had no idea of the financial trouble she was in. Relations became strained after David disapproved of her estranged husband who was selling cocaine from her home (which he bought for her) and the contact between them became sparse. A source close to the star says ‘David had no idea Lynne was on benefits. He bought her the house she lives in. He has always provided for her and her children.  ‘He has given her money and anything she needs, so he is clearly baffled and really quite upset”. Hey David, instead of getting sources to leak your statement to the press how about you dispatch one of your maids to help out around the house and give your sister and her kids some help.

Suri Cruise

2. Suri Cruise is actually a stylist!

From the ‘are you kidding me files’ comes word that Suri Cruise is apparently quite the stylist. Katie Holme s gave an interview to New York magazine this week where she mentioned that Suri likes to give fashion advice and often instructs her on what to wear on the red carpet  “I grew up the youngest of five, so there were a lot of hand-me-downs that I would sort of change up. And Suri and I do that now with her clothes. Or rather, she does it. She says, ‘I want this sleeve cut,’ and it’s like, ‘Okay, we’ll cut it.’ She picks out all of her own clothes and has since she was 1½. Tom and I went to the Met ball a couple of years ago, and I had this beautiful red gown and these royal-blue shoes that I wasn’t planning on wearing, but Suri made me put them on and so I was like, ‘Okay, I trust you.’ At least we now have a reason for the occasional red carpet disasters.

3. 52 is the new 22

First up lets all wish Madonna a happy birthday. She turned 52 this week and celebrated with a fancy dinner in London with family and friends and baby Jesus. I still giggle when I say their names together, it’s just too funny. Anyway…knowing the paparazzi would be out in full force Madge took the opportunity to shake off the recent bad pics of her looking rather frumpy on set of her first film as director and turned up looking like she was celebrating her 22

birthday! Amazing how a good dress and great hair can hide the fact you have had a little too much work done.

Sylvester Stallone

4. A bunch of has been action heroes can actually make more at the box office than a much hyped Julia Roberts movie.

This week in the US there was a box office war between Sly Stallone’s new movie with his has been friends ‘The Expendables’ and the much anticipated Eat Pray Love with Julia Roberts. Much to the shock of, well, the world… the Expendables did much better than Eat Pray Love making almost $13 million more in its first few days. Who’d have thought that a movie staring a handful of washed up action heroes including Sly Stallone and the Arnold Schwarzenegger would be able make more money than a movie based on one of the most popular books in recent history starring one of the most popular female actors of all time. I still don’t understand why male dominated movies always do better than ‘chick flicks’.

Justin Bieber

5. Don’t piss off Justin Bieber! !!!

This is a lesson I will remember forever! Justin Bieber took revenge on Kevin Kristopik, a fan who had hacked into his twitter account to get the mega stars phone number recently by doing the same back to him. Bieber then sent out a tweet to his 4.5 million followers with Kristopik’s number asking fans to call or text him. You can only imagine what happened next.. tween girls all over the world started dialing and texting thinking they were getting a direct line to the teen god. The tweet was taken down shortly after but not before Kristopik’s received about 10,00 calls and texts (There is a video on you tube showing just how crazy his phone went). Now a few weeks ago I cyber slapped Bieber for writing his memoirs at 16 and after reading this story, Justin, if you are reading this I am eternally sorry! I think it is a brilliant idea and will even buy a copy the day it comes out.

6. Being naked, covered in blood and talking about vampire sex will sell a magazine.

TheVampire craze continues this month with US Rolling Stone putting the 3 main stars of the cult hit TV series True blood on the cover… naked and covered in blood. The feature story accompanying the cover is called ‘The Joy of Vampire Sex’. Stephan Moyer who plays vampire Bill Compton in the article says “If we go from a base level, vampires create a hole in the neck where there wasn’t one before. It’s a de-virginization–breaking the hymen, creating blood and then drinking the virginal blood. And there’s something sharp, the fang, which is probing and penetrating and moving into it. So that’s pretty sexy. I think that makes vampires attractive.” He laughs a little. “Plus, Robert Pattinson is just hot, right?”…Right! Two of the cover stars Anna Paquin and Stephan Moyer are actually engaged in real life so that must have been an interesting shoot to do.Props to Rolling Stone though for having the guts (sorry, that creates a strong visual doesn’t it) to do something controversial. Not many people do anymore although a few drops of fake blood would have been enough for me.

Jessica Simpson

7. Celebrities do actually want curves (just not in the places they already have them)

Jessica Simpson who is known for her ever changing figure has come out and said that she wants a bigger bum. In an interview with UK magazine Closer the star said “I have a white girl booty. I don’t have a big butt. I’d rather have a happy medium and take some off my chest and put it towards my butt so I could balance out a bit.” She also talked about how she loves her curves saying “I’m more confident than I’ve ever been in my life. I’m much more at peace with myself and whatever life brings my way.” Simpson also responded when asked about how she feels when the press reports her weight changes she said“People talked about my weight for an entire year. Being famous for gaining 10lbs is ridiculous! I didn’t feel as fat as everybody was making me out to be. Even the president felt he had to make a comment – although I think he was caught off guard as the picture was thrown in front of his face!”

Montana Fishburne

8. Careful what you let your teenage kids do in their spare time. You might not be so pleased with their hobbies.

The Matrix star Laurence Fishburne found this out the hard way when it was revealed his 19 year old daughter is to release a porn film. Montana Fishburne, who was arrested for prostitution last year, filmed the adult movie some time ago and said “I had already filmed it by the time they knew so I didn’t give them a chance to talk me out of it,” Upon hearing of the movie papa Laurence Fishburne contacted the films distributer to offer $1 million to block the shipment of the film but was too late as the sex tapes had already been distributed. Montana who is no longer in contact with her dad said “I hear through relatives that he’s upset but I haven’t talked to him directly for him to tell me his feelings,”  “Being in an adult film is not a big deal to me,” Montana Fishburne told People magazine claiming this has always been a dream “It’s something to do. I have always been comfortable in my body and with my sexuality.”

All is not lost for Montana though; if you look at how Kim Kardashian got her big break (anyone remember her sex tape?), Montana could become the biggest thing since slice bread in no time.
