Every now and then a hack comes along that completely changes your life… or at least your sneaker game.
One very clever Twitter user has shared a white sneaker cleaning hack that’ll have your filthy Converse looking brand spankin’ new in no time at all.
The best bit? You probably already have everything you need in your pantry.

According to Twitter user ‘Halloween Queen’, all you need is your normal laundry detergent, some baking soda, some baby powder and a lil’ bit of elbow grease.
The twitter user said she restored her filthy sneakers to a glistening white by combining one part baking soda with one-and-a-half parts detergent.
ok rinse shoes, mix 1:1.5 of baking soda & detergent, scrub w toothbrush, let it sit for a while, rinse, put in washer, baby powder/dry???? https://t.co/D5Skp5ha3x

She then simply rinsed off her shoes, scrubbed her nifty little mixture all over them with a toothbrush (hopefully not the same one she, you know, brushes her teeth with) and chucked them in the washing machine.
Once the cycle was finished, she dried them off with some baby powder and the results speak for themselves, really.
The Twitter world was so impressed with her craftiness, her post has already been shared nearly 100,000 times.
Yet another example of how twitter teaches us more than high school ever did ????????
