Take a look through Sylvia Jeffreys and Peter Stefanovic's new $2.7 million family home.

They may not be tying the knot until next year, but Today show reporters Sylvia Jeffreys and Peter Stefanovic have just signed off on a lavish four-bedroom house in Sydney’s exclusive Double Bay.

The pair – who announced their engagement in July – purchased the two-storey home, which also boasts a “sun-soaked terrace” and private balcony off the master suite – for a rumoured $2.7 million.

According to the real estate agent's website, the home is described as a "family residence", featuring two master suites with two smaller bedrooms.

The 2.5 bathrooms all boast underfloor heating, and the residence is close to "shops, parks and organic markets".

The couple have been living in Bondi since their engagement.

The pair got engaged during a romantic European holiday, but not everything went to plan, with Sylvia revealing recently that the pair had their car stolen in Italy.

"When your hire car has just been stolen, along with your possessions inside, and you’ve spent hours lost in translation in a Naples police station and a hire car office," Sylvia wrote on Instagram, alongside an image of her and Pete drinking beer.

“…So you jump on the next ferry out of town, find a drink and let the wind blow your worries away. Sweet holiday flashback @peter_stefanovic.”
