They make an unlikely couple – but The Block’s Suzi Taylor has revealed she had a secret relationship with TV host Richard Wilkins last year.

Rumours of the relationship began in November after Wilkins’ son Christian shared a photo of the pair on social media, which was soon deleted.

While Taylor, 44, and Wilkins, 61, both denied the affair at the time, the reality star recently shared intimate details of the doomed romance with news.com.au.

Taylor revealed that she and Wilkins "first connected" after they met in October at the Channel Nine Telethon.

The relationship soon blossomed.

"He gave me access to his house and I would be there in my underwear waiting for him when he got home from work," Taylor said.

But after a few months, Wilkins called off the romance.

"He called me on the phone and said it had to stop...that really hurt me," Taylor added.

2015 was a big - and controversial - year for Taylor.

While appearing on The Block, she made headlines after speaking out about her previous relationship with rocker Michael Hutchence. She also caused a stir after collapsing on set and being rushed to hospital. At the same time, racy photos of a scantily-clad Taylor also began circulating online.

We're sorry to hear the relationship didn't work out - and we hope they both find happiness soon.
