Former Big Brother star Skye Wheatley has spoken publicly about the breast augmentation that has left her with a “double bubble” boob and shattered self-esteem.
An estimated 15,000 Australians travel overseas each year to undergo cosmetic procedures. Last February, Wheatley joined their ranks, undergoing surgery in Thailand to even up her asymmetrical breasts — a feature that had affected her confidence for years.
“They’re completely deformed. If I can fix them, why not?” Wheatley told the Daily Mail in the lead-up to her trip.
“Boyfriends have called me ‘pancake’ in the past and comments like that stick.”

I agree with Rachel jones. You can travel abroad if you do research. I was 8 months ago in Czech republic at Forme clinic. Everything was perfect. As Beauty said - you need to find good surgeon, you need to plan everything and plan your aftercare. I got instructions from my surgeon and their client coordinator. Don't be afraid to ask. They are used to it (especially if you are foreigner).
There are good and bad specialists everywhere. If you undergo surgery abroad it is possible to get perfect results and save a lot of money ... However, there are few conditions eg. you must know how to find a good surgeon and you must plan your medical travel and aftercare long before you go abroad (you can read more about it on my blog: beautyabroadguide.com). People often do reckless things- they travel for health care, but they don't verify credentials of a doctor abroad. I think medical tourists don't understand that they carry a huge responsibility for their health and life when they decide to undergo medical procedure abroad. And that's one of the reasons why they have post op complications.
