Rob Kardashian may have a reputation as the most media-shy member of the reality TV clan, but he just celebrated his engagement in rather, erm, flashy style.

Rob, who last week revealed at a Los Angeles strip club that he’s engaged to Blac Chyna, this week celebrated his impending nuptials with cake at another strip club in New York.

As you do, we suppose, when the bride-to-be is a former exotic dancer.

The pair partied Wednesday night at Ace’s Gentleman’s Club, which describes itself as featuring “10,000 square feet of class and style” (we bet.) Chyna was scheduled to make an appearance on the night of the engagement party, where the betrothed couple ate cake and cracked open a bottle of Moet & Chandon (although Chyna reportedly wasn’t drinking, which sent some tabloids into a tizz because everyone knows that mean’s she’s definitely pregnant.)

Rob, 29, last night shared several images of the engagement event to Instagram – rather suprisingly for him,given that he uses social media far less often than his more selfie-happy sisters.

The rest of the Kardashians have been notably quiet about Rob’s engagement. Aside from a Snapchat video Rob shared of Kim saying, “In honor of Rob’s big day,” the clan haven’t shared social media wishes about the impending nuptials. Perhaps that has to do with the twisted love web underpinning Rob and Chyna’s relationship: Chyna was previously engaged to rapper Tyga, who is now dating Kardashian’s younger half-sister Kylie… and Chyna and Tgya even have a son, three-year-old King Cairo, together. And as if that isn’t complicate enough, Chyna is also ex-BFFs with Kim Kardashian, and Chyna’s current bestie Amber Rose used to date Kim’s husband, Kanye West. (Phew.) Confused yet? Take comfort in the fact you’re not alone: Bette Midler took to Twitter on Thursday to poke fun at Rob and Chyna’s engagement. The 70-year-old actress and singer playfully tweeted: “Rob Kardashian’s engaged to the MOTHER of the child of Kylie Jenner’s boyfriend? They’ll share a stepchild? Somebody send me a chart!”

Haters aside, Rob and Chyna are reportedly thrilled to be engaged and “want to get married toward the end of the summer,” a source reportedly tells Us Weekly.

Rob apparently even wants the wedding televised, just like his sisters Kim and Khloé Kardashian’s wedding.

Let’s just hope the ceremony’s not in yet another “gentlemen’s club.” All that red lighting’s sure to ruin the wedding photos.
