In 34 years, there will be more plastic waste in the sea than fish.

 

By 2050, the world could literally be swimming in plastic.

A new report by the World Economic Forum and the Ellen MacArthur Foundation found that if we continue our current habits of plastic consumption, there will be some pretty dire consequences for our oceans.

The report also listed some solutions, many of which lie with manufacturers.

However, by recycling and re-using, there are small steps you can make as a consumer to curb the trend.
