Woman bites into a McChicken burger. Finds a worm.

If the early bird gets the worm, this McChicken pattie must have been up at the crack of dawn.

When Joyce Fedd from Jacksonville in Florida took her kids to the local drive-thru for a quick bite, they weren’t expecting any extras with their meal.

But shortly after receiving her order, the mother of two bit into her burger only to notice something was a little off:

Oh.  That’s why. THERE’S A WORM IN IT.

Blurgh.

In fact there were not one, but two squiggy, juicy purple worms in her McChicken.   Just hanging out, doing their worm thing, probably making burrows into the chicken. BLIURHEWIRHFAHFILDAHJFILD.

It JUST so happened that at the same time this happened, a TV news crew were filming a separate story at the establishment.

Joyce was up in their grill faster than a Whopper with Cheese.

Action News reporter Alyana Gomez was on her news beat, covering a triple shooting that happened the night before when Fedd approached her and put her off her lunch forever more showed her the worm in the burger.

“I tasted something. Took it out my mouth and [it had] a worm in it.” Fedd explained.

On closer inspection, she discovered another one buried in the meat.

The owner of the McDonald’s quickly issued a response, telling the reporter they take these incidents very seriously.

“When the customer returned to the restaurant and brought it to our attention, we refunded her money and replaced her sandwich, and quickly reviewed our entire kitchen to ensure this type of occurrence could not happen.”Jim Van Laere, the McDonald’s owner/operator, said.

He said the chicken didn’t come from them — it came from wherever the meat was shipped from.

Fedd says the store refunded her $3 and offered her a replacement burger. She declined.

She’s now ordering an attorney instead.
