Did you know Mia Freedman works with her husband? That’s right. Mia is the founder and creative director of Mamamia while her husband, Jason Lavigne, is the CEO. They’ve been working together since 2009.
“From the minute we decided to do this together we had very clear roles, he was going to be the business side… and I was going to be the creative side,” explains Mia.

I work for husband and wife directors and it's always a bit uncomfortable when they get snippy with each other, even if it's only in a business context! We mostly just try to ignore it but it does add a certain tension to the room!
