Kim Kardashian's Paris hotel concierge has lifted the lid on shocking security failings.

Two weeks after Kim Kardashian West’s Paris robbery, the concierge involved in the harrowing ordeal has accused the hotel of lacking solid security.

Speaking to MailOnlinethe 39-year-old known only as Abdulrahman said, “There was no real security at all. It’s a choice. The hotel doesn’t mind about security.”

Five masked robbers entered the complex in the early hours of Monday, October 3, and handcuffed Abdulrahman before barging into Kardashian West’s apartment, binding and gagging her.

The thieves stole $14 million in jewellery and escaped on local hire bicycles.

Abdulrahman, who acted as an interpreter between the robbers and Kardashian West, claimed security warnings were ignored by hotel management.

"We told them [the hotel] years and years before, you have to make a camera, you have to put [in place] a security process, about keys. Nothing was locked, there was no proper security there," he said.

The Algerian native went on to say that the hotel door code had not been changed since 2010, saying "everyone knew it." And according to recently acquired evidence, it is now believed the five robbers entered the private hotel complex on Rue Tronchet using the code.

Once inside the building, the robbers led Abdulrahman to Kardashian West's apartment, which reportedly used only a single Yale-type lock as security.

It is understood the concierge is planning to sue his employer for the trauma experienced during the robbery.

Having remained offline since the robbery, Kardashian West's assistant, Stephanie Sheppard posted a message to the 35-year-old's fans on Monday, writing, "Hey guys, so you may have noticed we haven't updated the app in a couple of weeks. Keeks is taking some much needed time off. But not to worry. We've called upon Kim's closest friends, fam and yours truly to serve up some exclusives. Stay tuned for new posts and app takeovers!!"

Sheppard's message came after Kardashian West's younger sister, Khloe Kardashian appeared on The Ellen Show and admitted Kim's “not doing that well.

“It’s incredibly traumatic what happened to her," Khloe explained, continuing, "but our family is super close and great and we’ll get through it together, and we do appreciate all your guys’ love and support and it will take time."
