In fact, it might be the most relatable wedding picture we have ever seen.

"This is how I am currently feeling about wedding and engagement season coming up," the 21 year old from Virginia, United States captioned the photo on Reddit.

Even better, it's a real life outtake of James from her friends wedding in 2015.

"Yes, this is an actual photo of me (extremely single) helping my best friend with her bridals," she continued.

"The photographer asked me to throw her train up and then dive out of the shot, and so I did. Very theatrically."

The story gets even better. (Post continues after gallery.)

"After being a bridesmaid eleven times, I have perfected the art of smiling through my pain," James told Mamamia.

"So when one of my good friends Amy interrupted my typical routine of Netflix and ice cream binges to ask for help with her bridal photos, I knew it was my duty as her only available friend to accept."

Once they reached the overcast mountain, James says that she and the photographer agreed that they would get the perfect shots for Amy and her fiancee Riley "at any cost".

"I knelt in the snow, hid under the veil, and eventually dove into the reeds to get that perfect shot. Needless to say, the bruises and frozen fingers were worth it when we got the final shots," she says.

"The bride and I both love the photo and are amazed at how accurately it describes this moment in my life."

Proving she takes her bridemaid duties very seriously (we're talking performing maid-of-honour original raps, arranging flowers and "yelling at many timid and incompetent wedding staffers" over the years), James says she's learned some important lessons.

"Attending and participating in weddings of so many of my friends has taught me to focus on the couple's happiness and nothing else," she says.

Listen: Do we really need to promise 'Til death do us part?' Post continues after audio.

"Your feet may be bleeding, your dress may be hideous and you definitely won't be getting anyone's number, but you'll have some funny pictures and a day that everyone will remember (for various reasons). Anyone want to elope?"

After seeing the photo, people had nothing but praise for James.

"I always wondered how the other side of these bridal shots looked. Now I know. Haha. You are a good friend," commented one Redditor, while another added, "You're an amazing friend! I hope everyone has someone as dedicated as you!!"

Legend.
