The Bachelorette's Georgia Love has a message for her body shamers.

Former Bachelorette star Georgia Love, 28, has posted a passionate response to body shamers on her Instagram account.

The journalist wrote, “No wonder negative body image and mental health issues are becoming more and more prevalent in our society, the internet can be a disgusting place.”

“[The Daily Mail] posted an article about me exercising (not sitting on the couch gorging on a burger. Exercising) and every single comment is body shaming me,” she continued.

No wonder negative body image and mental health issues are becoming more and more prevalent in our society, the internet can be a disgusting place. @dailymail posted an article about me exercising (not sitting on the couch gorging on a burger. Exercising) and every single comment is body shaming me. One even suggests I’m so unattractive my boyfriend simply must be cheating on me! This is not a “woe is me” post, this is to highlight just a snippet of what these trolls do and shame them right back. Girls (and guys), if anyone tells you you’re not good enough, not pretty enough, not skinny enough; they’re wrong. No I’m not a size 6 and I will never apologise for that. I am a happy, fit, active, NORMAL person and that is all any of us should strive to be ???????? #hatersgonnahate #rantover

Love’s post comes after The Daily Mail published a story titled “Working up a sweat! Bachelorette Georgia Love is seen doing triceps dips and running in a Melbourne park days after her first Christmas with Lee” yesterday afternoon.

While the article itself is not critical of The Studio 10 host — opting instead to describe her “light blue tights, cropped just below the knee”, and the “glimpse of a green and black netted sports bra… as she moved her body side-to-side during her energetic run” — the story attracted a number of vile comments.

They include “The guys who didn’t get a rose actually went home in relief, she’s no prize!”, “Omg thunder thighs!” and “Congrats to Lee to score an old lookin’ cat lady with thunder thighs. I bet he keeps blonde sugar candies on the side.”

At the time of writing, Love’s post has been live for one hour, and has been liked more than 7,000 times. It has also attracted almost 1,000 comments. (Post continues after gallery.)

Among the commenters was The Bachelorette host Osher Gunsberg, who added “People can f*** right off.”

All we can see in the images published by The Daily Mail is a beautiful, healthy woman, exercising – which is neither newsworthy or cause for comment.

Georgia, from everyone at Mamamia, you look fantastic, and you’re bloody perfect the way you are.
