It’s official, you guys. Ryan Gosling – everyone’s dream husband and baby-daddy – is not only off the market, but he’s also set to become a father.

33-year-old Gosling and 40-year-old Eva Mendes are going to have a little gosling of their own, in just a couple of months.

Rumours started swirling overnight after OK magazine published an article quoting an anonymous “insider”, who claimed that Mendes was seven months pregnant with Gosling’s baby:

Now, PEOPLE have confirmed the news that the actress is pregnant.

This will officially be the first child for the couple, who originally started dating in 2011 after co-starring in The Place Beyond the Pines. Incidentally, the two of them were parents to a seriously cute baby in The Place Beyond the Pines.

Mysteriously, Mendes hasn’t actually been photographed in public since March, which is potentially why the news hasn’t leaked until now.

Previously, Mendes had denied pregnancy claims multiple times and even hinted at not wanting any children. However, PEOPLE has cleared it all up:
