There's a new My Kitchen Rules baby. And yes, of course he's edible.

“Baby Cheese” is already a poser.

My Kitchen Rules contestants – and cheese enthusiasts – Jason and Annie Chesworth have shared the first photo of their newborn child.

Annie and Jason were contestants on the 2014 season of MKR, known as ‘Mr and Mrs Cheese’.

They gave birth to their son Theodore – nicknamed Teddy – in March. Teddy was born with a cleft palate, which was diagnosed when Annie was 20 weeks pregnant. He will undergo surgery when he’s six months old to fix this.

The couple shared the photo of Teddy and Jason watching an episode of this year’s season of MKR on their Instagram, with the caption: “Watching MKR semi-finals! Jason’s going for Will and Steve, I’m going for Ash and Camilla, and Teddy is undecided.”

“He’s a beautiful, healthy baby boy and there are no words to describe my feelings for him,” Jason told Woman’s Day.

“We looked at each other and went, ‘Pfft, it’s only a cleft, we can deal with that,’” said Annie.

“This was our child, our first baby, and I was so amazed that I didn’t even see the cleft.” Jason added.

The couple also posted a photo of Teddy on Jason’s knee as he does important cheese-related business. No word yet on whether Teddy will take over the cheese biz, but we’re thinking it’s likely.
