After her plan to become Wonder Woman sadly didn’t come through, Megan Gale has turned her attention to Channel Ten’s Wonderland.

The 38-year-old supermodel will be joining the cast of the popular Aussie drama, and here’s our first look at her in the role of Amelia, a possible love interest for Tom:

Gale’s role in the show was announced in September last year. Her scenes were filmed around that time, before she announced that she was pregnant with baby River, who came into the world in May.

But, after her almost big break as Wonder Woman fizzled out, Gale has been wary of the criticism that models who try their hand at acting face. She told News Limited last year:
