Why did Lisa Wilkinson have to apologise for her hair this morning?

Looks like she brushed some viewers the wrong way.

Yesterday Karl Stefanovic COULD NOT EVEN HANDLE the hair on co-host Lisa Wilkinson’s chin and today morning television viewers just COULD NOT DEAL with the hair on her head.

Because the world, it’s been confirmed, is utterly utterly ridiculous.

The Today audience found Lisa’s bed hair so ‘annoying’ they just had to say something. And many did via the show’s Facebook page:

To appease her disgruntled fans (the same fans who didn’t notice when Karl wore the same suit FOR A WHOLE YEAR), Wilkinson posted an apology on her Instagram… Turns out, she had just woken up with a bit of an irritated eye.

Apologies to all those who were so irritated by my “bed hair” this morning, but I had a super irritated eye and this little bit of a peek-a-boo style was our only option. I kinda liked it…and hubby loved it, so that’s a win right there! Whaddya reckon, maybe next time I should try an eye-patch?
