Jennifer Lawrence is unflinchingly honest about herself.
It’s part of her charm. And to that end, she came out with some pretty excellent remarks in her Vogue cover story for the December issue.
The 25-year-old, from her $8 million home (which used to belong to Jessica Simpson, fyi), spoke to the fashion bible about her dating life, becoming a millionaire, and her new neighbours Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis.
Here are some insights into the life and times of Jennifer Lawrence.
Jennifer Lawrence’s Vogue cover.
She hasn’t been dating anyone since she and Chris Martin broke up.
She also showed the journalist her bedroom, announcing, “This is where the maaagic haaaappens!”
Lawrence as arguably her most famous character Katniss Everdeen.
She’s befriended Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis.
Lawrence finally had some time off to settle into the $8 million mansion she bought in a Beverly Hills gated community last year.
She usually hates not working but she quite enjoyed herself this time, because she’s got friends nearby to hang out with.
“And I’ve made friends with Mila and Ashton, two doors down. They’re awesome. I go over there uninvited. They’re probably getting pretty sick of me.”

Her dog Pippi helped her get through the nude photo leak last year.
After she found out about hackers stealing pictures from her iCloud account and distributing them online, her mother came to visit with a new puppy.
“I was outside crying, and Pippi jumped up on my lap and started licking up all my tears, and I couldn’t put her down for hours. And I mean, hours. I was like, ‘Well, obviously, you’re mine.'”
Pippi!
She only travels by private jet.
Jennifer Lawrence is the highest-paid actress in the world (though as we know, not as highly paid as her male counterparts). Last year she earned $52 million.
From this interview, it sounds as though she’s spent most of her money on furniture and wine (at one point, she says, “Sorry the wine isn’t cold. I always forget you’re supposed to chill rosé — I’m new money.”).
She doesn’t really have expensive tastes, except for one rather large expenditure.
She’s not on some kind of obnoxious “clean” paleo diet.
During the course of the interview, over several days, Lawrence consumes plenty of wine, home-delivered pizza (with jalapeno, pepperoni and ranch dressing), dirty martinis she made herself, baby back ribs, lobster fritters and jalapeno creamed corn, most of which sounds fairly horrific actually, but hey, she is from Kentucky.
She really wants to get married.
She once dated someone really “sexy” but who made her feel insecure.
Lawrence’s two best friends are getting married in the coming months so it’s on her mind.
