Trigger warning: This post deals with child sexual assault and may be triggering for some readers.

Update:

Here Comes Honey Boo Boo star Anna “Chickadee” Cardwell has criticised June Shannon, aka Mama June, for bringing her molester back into the family’s lives.

Cardwell, now 20, appeared in an interview with Entertainment Tonight on Thursday and addressed claims her mother has rekindled her romance with Mark McDaniel.

McDaniel was sentenced to 10 years in prison after abusing Anna when she was eight, as Mamamia previously reported.

“I’m mad. I’m upset. I feel betrayed. I feel very hurt,” Anna said on the program.

“She’s smiling and giggling when he’s around. You know, he’s a child molester, Mama. He did this to me. Why would you let him come around the girls knowing what he did?”

“It’s Mama’s fault. It’s her fault. She has to live with it. She has brung the past back and now she can’t get the past away now.”

Cardwell added that she has thought time and time again what she would say to McDaniel, 53, if she were to see him again.

“I would look at him in disgust and spit in his face and say, ‘You f—ing leave or I’m gonna call the cops,” she said. “You’re not supposed to be here, you know what you did.'”

In related news, TMZ has reported that Mama June won’t receive her full salary for the rest of the unaired season, because TLC network bosses believe she is  to blame for the show’s abrupt end.

TMZ reports that Honey Boo Boo and the rest of the children on the show will be paid in full.

Update:

Further distressing details have emerged about child sex allegations surrounding the Here Comes Honey Boo Boo family.

RadarOnline reports that according to Spalding County Superior Court documents obtained exclusively by the website, one of Anna’s siblings witnessed pedophile Mark McDaniel sexually abusing her 8-year-old sister Anna on at least one occasion.

The documents reveal that Anna told the officer McDaniel would molest her in Mama June’s bedroom.

The sibling was “in the bed with them when this is going on,” Officer Bauch wrote in the incident report.

Previously, Mamamia wrote:

It just gets worse.

Honey Boo Boo’s mother, June “Mama June” Shannon may or may not be dating the man who once sexually assaulted her underage daughter, but now it’s been alleged that the father of her middle daughter Jessica, is also a convicted paedophile.

Seriously. How did this family get a lucrative TV contract?

The Shannons’ show, Here comes Honey Boo Boo  was recently cancelled by TLC after the stories surfaced that Shannon was dating her ex-boyfriend Mark McDaniel, a convicted child molester who had recently been released from prison.

And now it’s being reported that Jessica, Shannon’s 17-year-old daughter, was fathered by Michael Anthony Ford – a man who was arrested in 2005 and later convicted of sexually exploiting a child over the internet.

Ford was sentenced to four years in prison and put on the sex offender registry, FOX was reportedly told by the Georgia Department of Corrections. He is currently serving prison time with 10 years on probation.

And while we take all of that in, there’s more – the fathers of Shannon’s other children also hold criminal records (although these are not related to sex offences).

Anna’s father, David Dunn was sentenced for stealing a handgun and later for stealing a carton of cigarettes. Alana’s dad, David Michael “Sugar Bear” Thompson, was also sentenced to five years for robbing and setting fire to several camp sites.

It is now being questioned whether the TLC television network did enough background research in to Honey Boo Boo and her mother’s history before the show went to air.

Honey Boo Boo and June “Mama June” Shannon came to fame when a spin-off show was created after Honey Boo Boo was noticed on the TV reality show, Toddlers and Tiaras.

Maybe the television network should have done its homework, but the biggest question is, what’s going to happen to Honey Boo Boo (and her sisters) now?
