Reality TV star Heidi Montag’s father has reportedly been arrested on child sex charges.

After a few years of (unwillingly) being shunned from the limelight, former The Hills stars Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt find themselves in the news again.

Heidi’s father Bill Montag was arrested late last week for allegedly sexually assaulting a girl over 50 times between 1993 and 1998, starting when the girl was 13, reported TMZ.

TMZ went on to say:

‘Sources’ connected to Heidi and Spencer have said that these allegations are false and the victim has ‘significant credibility problems’.

The source added that Speidi (the official couple name for Spencer and Heidi) are very familiar with the accuser who ‘is determined to destroy the family.’ The source said the accuser has stalked Heidi and Spencer at several public appearances to the point security had to remove her.

Heidi (i.e the girl who had 10 surgeries in one day), appeared on The Hills with fellow reality TV alum and former bestie, Lauren Conrad.

After meeting Spencer, their friendship fell through and Heidi and Spencer became one of the most hated couples in reality TV’s history.
