For anyone whose after a little comic relief after a heavy week of political controversy than this YouTube video is just what the doctor ordered.

If you’re unfamiliar with the work of Insiders editor Huw Parkinson and his hilarious YouTube channel, I guarantee that’s all about to change.

Parkinson is known for seamlessly inserting politicians (and their scandals) into pop-culture movies and television shows.

Barnaby Joyce in Pirates of the Caribbean anyone?

Well, Parkinson’s latest creation has not disappointed, with the former House of Representatives speaker, Bronwyn Bishop playing the role of Lucille Bluth in Arrested Development.

In the hilarious clip,

Lucille

Bronwyn withholds flight records from son Michael (James Bateman) and ‘kind-of’ apologises to the Australian community over a lavish family dinner, while decked out in

Lucille’s

 Bronwyn’s finest.

There’s special appearances by Prime Minister Tony Abbott and PUP leader Clive Palmer as well.

With a line-up like that, you’re guaranteed a laugh.

Check out the video for yourself here.
